Jurij Hladnik je leta 1996 diplomiral na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani, pri prof. Alojzu Zupanu. Pri njem je leta 1999 končal podiplomski študij. V času šolanja je prejel številne prve nagrade na tekmovanjih mladih glasbenikov. Leta 1996 je sodeloval v mednarodnem orkestru iz Švice. Leta 1998 je bil zaposlen kot basklarinetist v orkestru SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana in od leta 1999 pa je zaposlen kot solo klarinetist v Simfoničnem orkestru RTV Slovenija.
Snemal je za RTV Slovenija in RTV Maribor.
Kot solist je nastopil s številnimi orkestri(Simfoniki RTV Slovenija, orkestrom Akademije za glasbo iz Ljubljane, Mladinskim simfoničnim in godalnim orkestrom iz Celja, orkestrom Akord…)
Solistično in kot član raznih komornih zasedb je nastopil na festivalih kot so Lent, Glasbeni september v Mariboru, Dubrovniške poletne igre, Kogojevi dnevi, Slovenski glasbeni dnevi, Noč slovenskih skladateljev, Ipavčevi kulturni dnevi…
Je član več komornih zasedb(Trio Opus3, Pihalni kvintet PanArs, Maister trio).
Občasno pa sodeluje tudi z drugimi komornimi skupinami in orkestri(Kvartet Akord,
godalni kvartet Epidaurus…). |

Jurij Hladnik graduated in 1996 at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, under the mentorship of prof. Alojz Zupan. In 1999, he completed his post-graduate studies with the same professor. During this time he won several first prizes at competitions for young musicians. In 1996, he was a member of a Swiss international orchestra. In 1998, he was employed as the bass clarinetist in the SNG Opera and Ballet orchestra in Ljubljana, while in 1999 he has been appointed the solo clarinetist in the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, a post he still holds at present. He has recorded for RTV Slovenia and RTV Maribor.
As a soloist, he performed with a number of orchestras (RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Ljubljana Academy of Music Orchestra, Youth Symphony and String Orchestra from Celje, the "Akord" orchestra and others.
He performed, either as a soloist or as a member of a chamber ensemble, at festivals such as Lent, "Glasbeni September" in Maribor, the Dubrovnik Summer Games, Kogojevi dnevi, Slovenian Days of Music, the Night of Slovenian Composers, "Ipavčevi kulturni dnevi" etc.
He is a member of several chamber ensembles (Trio Opus3, the PanArs Wind Quartet, Maister Trio). Occasionally, he cooperates with other chamber groups and orchestras as well (the Akord Quartet, Epidaurus string quartet,…). |
